If there’s only one thing you need to know about me (apart from my love of cats) it’s that I never ever need a reason to celebrate & I celebrate every occasion too 😉
Glamour Magazine had me jumping for joy when they set aside two double tickets for me, to the eagerly anticipated Celebration of Bubbles Festival at the newly renovated Inanda Country Club last month.
Siwze Ntsaluba Gobodo, second year hosts to this fabulous event did not disappoint. A weekend of tasting some of the countries best Champagnes & Mêthode Cap Classiques, summed up, A world of bubbly, 2 days, 25 wineries & 75 bubblies …. You had me at Bubbly!
This year saw the likes of:
Anthonij Rupert Wyne – L’Omarins
Armand Dr Brignac – Ace of Spades
Genevieve MCC, had the cutest quote cards to go with your bubbly. I chose “Passion changes everything” How true, how apt!
Graham Beck Wines, we thoroughly enjoyed the Bliss – incredibly yummy!
J.C. Le Roux, always refreshing & delish
Piper-Heidsieck, one of the oldest Champagne Houses in France!
Veuve Clicquot, everyone’s favorite favorite
I’ve only just recently heard of the Billionaires Row brand & was hoping they would be at the festival. Unfortunately they were not, so it’s time to pick up a bottle to sample 🙂 One never needs a reason to pop open a bottle of bubbly!
This year saw celebs such as the dashing Maps Maponyane, Danny K & wife Lisa Koppel, and the stunning couple, Jay Anstey & Jonathan Boynton-Lee to name a few.
The color of the day seemed to be white, everyone adorned in beautiful white dresses, slacks, shades (check out Sunglass Hut for the latest range) & Panama hats, however there were others like myself in my colorful Mango maxi dress & gold sandals from Mr P Fashion that added some color to the event 😉
Awesome afternoon with the girls – cheers!
An afternoon spent with my fabulous girls, drinking bubbly, listening to live music & enjoying the stylish ambiance of the Celebration of Bubbles Festival is most highly recommended, so make sure you get your tickets to the 2016 festival!
